Celebrate Nashville is a magazine dedicated to honoring the history of Nashville and its many remarkable industries and accomplishments. Ongoing issues of Celebrate Nashville contain three segments, which include a DVD with one-on-one interviews of some of the most influential people in our city, a history booklet designed to educate today’s student with historical information in a modern, engaging fashion and a print magazine written by local authors and historians that dive deeply into the connections between Nashville’s past, present and future.

Past issues of Celebrate Nashville have honored Nashville’s bicentennial, the 50th anniversary of Nashville’s adoption of the metropolitan style of government and the 60th anniversary of the beginning of Music Row. Published by local publishing company Moss Rose Press, Celebrate Nashville is a project designed for Nashville-area residents, school students and anyone interested in the engaging stories of Nashville and its influence across the world!

Celebrate Nashville:

HISTORY OF MUSIC ROW

A word from Mayor Megan Barry

The story of Nashville simply could not be told without discussing the incredible contributions of Music Row to our city.

With historic landmarks like historic RCA Studio B, which over the years has recorded the sounds of Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and Elvis Presley, Music Row is a must-see for Nashvillians and visitors wishing to understand the rich history of our city.

This special publication [and project] recognizes and commemorates the historic contribution of Music Row to Nashville

I am honored to help celebrate the history of Music Row and I look forward to seeing this neighborhood continue to grow and thrive for many years to come.
